Pretty Dragonfly Necklace and Earrings

I found the most lovely dragonfly pendants and I wanted to make something extra special with them!

I added the pendant to a simple 18 inch silver chain. Some natural gemstones were added to bring this pretty necklace some colour. A few champagne pearls, crystal beads and genuine volcanic quartz beads created a beautiful cascading detail to the dragonfly pendant necklace.

The colours remind me of Spring and Summertime – the colour of the natural stone beads is actually called watermelon skin and they couldn’t be closer to correct!

I had Mother’s Day in mind when creating this and pictured how please any mom would be with this stylish necklace set as a gift for her. Of course this charm necklace would be a lovely gift any time!

Pretty earrings are a must for most of my necklaces, I often will make a pair of classy earrings to go with my necklaces. The earrings I’ve created for this pretty necklace set are for the lady who likes plain earrings that match her necklace. I used the pretty cool blue colour of the natural labradorite beads for these dainty dangle earrings.

I’m pricing it at a special price for a Mother’s Day gift so whoever it’s for (even if it’s you treating yourself!) it’s a really nice price. Moms especially appreciate a gift of handmade jewelry, I hear this truth over and over again 🙂
